This good practice guide book project for AIC Singapore needed to reach families, caregivers, and service providers across Singapore — not just exist as a downloadable document. The core communication design challenge was clear: how do you transform a dense, compliance-heavy reference guide into something people genuinely want to open? A text-only approach would produce exactly the kind of good practice guide book that nobody reads.
LivelyGreen Strategic Brand developed three initial book design concepts before the client selected a preferred direction. When AIC Singapore shifted from print to digital publication, LivelyGreen Strategic Brand adapted the layout to portrait orientation for mobile readability, embedded navigation hyperlinks for easy section access, and consistent illustrations that matched specific caregiving scenarios throughout the guide. A warm colour palette — soft oranges, muted yellows, earthy greens — was applied deliberately across the book design to communicate care and approachability rather than institutional formality. The result was a good practice guide book that balanced communication design clarity with genuine visual warmth.
The completed good practice guide book is now publicly available through AIC Singapore’s digital channels, distributed to service providers and families across Singapore. A guide book that once risked being ignored now functions as a genuinely usable reference — readable on any device, easy to navigate, and visually engaging enough to earn the attention of the caregiving families it was designed to serve.
